ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

The Crawfordsville Parks and Rec. Dept., in partnership with Nucor Steel, hosts an Easter Egg Hunt each year at the Lew Wallace Study grounds. Children ages four and under can be helped by an adult, but for the 5-11 year olds we ask that parents remain at the wall while the kids search for treasures! The Easter Bunny will attend and is happy to pose for pictures. All Easter goodies have been provided by Nucor Steel and The Crawfordsville Park and Rec. Dept.

ANNUAL INDOOR IRONMAN

February 1-March 1

Have you ever wanted to compete in a triathlon? Well, now is your chance. Tri the INDOOR IRONMAN sponsored by the Crawfordsville Parks and Recreation Department and the Crawfordsville Aquatic Center. Participants will have 30 days to complete the ironman distances of a 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run. This is a great way to challenge yourself at your pace and on your schedule. Participants will have use of the Aquatic Center during open and lap swim hours and use of the Community Center for the duration of the challenge. Registration includes a t-shirt.

$20 members/$30 non-members

ANNUAL SUGAR CREEK TRAIL THANKSGIVING DAY PIE RUN

This is an event that offers something for all ages and ability levels. Events include a 5k run, 2 mile run/walk and a 200 yd. Kids Run.

Bring the whole family and enjoy an energetic beginning to Thanksgiving Day. The 5k run begins at 9:00am. Pies are awarded at random to 2 mile and 5k finishers. All participants in the Pie Run will receive a participation ribbon. The top three male and female 5k finishers will be awarded cash prizes. All proceeds benefit the Sugar Creek Trail.

ANNUAL DOGGIE POOL PARTY

Yes! It's a pool party for dogs. In late August or Early September each year dog owners can bring their precious pooches for a dip in Milligan Park Pool. We will drop the chlorine level and allow the pool to "go to the dogs" as our summer pool season draws to a close. There is a suggested donation of $3 per dog with all proceeds benefiting the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County
