FACILITY RENTALS The Park & Recreation Department has several facilities available for rent including the Community Center multipurpose room and kitchen, Community Center gymnasium, ball diamonds (Elston and Milligan parks), Milligan Park swimming pool, and picnic shelters. Please keep in mind that these facilities are available only during, non-programmed times and advanced reservation is required. Call Crawfordsville Community Center for more information. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE PARK AND RECREATION PROPERTIES! COMMUNITY CENTER MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM Great for family reunions, birthdays, club or organizational meetings. This room rents for $30.00/hour-weekends. A $50.00 damage deposit is will reserve the room with a 2 hour/min. rental required.  For information call Kelly Price at 364-5175. COMMUNITY CENTER KITCHEN The Kitchen is next to the Multi-purpose room and contains commercial stoves, microwaves and sinks.  It can be rented for $15.00/hour, minimum 2-hour rental.  For groups renting the multi-purpose room that will not be preparing a meal, the kitchen sinks and refrigerators can be used at no additional charge. COMMUNITY CENTER GYMNASIUM Our beautiful gymnasium can be rented for $50.00/hour during non-programmed times, which is basically only when the building is closed. Rental fee includes use of the equipment as well as including basketballs, volleyball nets,volleyballs, etc. For information call Kelly Price at 364-5175. MILLIGAN PARK POOL Fun for birthdays and other get-togethers. The Milligan Park Pool is available for rent before and after hours.  A pool rental includes the use of the water slide, diving board & inner tubes. Pool rental time is limited and rentals are booked on a first come first serve basis. Pool rental price is determined by the number of swimmers.  A $50 deposit is required to reserve a rental date. For more information call Roger Neal at 364-5175. BALL DIAMONDS Softball fields at Elston Park and Welliever Field may be reserved for tournaments and practice only. For practice games, each team is limited to one game per week and teams may reserve only tow weeks at a time, and no sooner that two weeks in advance. There is a one & one half hour time limit.  Lights are $7.00/hour, for practice games and you must sign-up in person with both teams signing the contract at the Community Center. For tournaments, dates will be held as soon as the $50.00 deposit is paid to the Park & Rec Dept. The rental rate is $35.00/field per day. Our maintenance crew will prepare the fields in advance and will check on them again mid-day to keep them in good playing condition. You will pay for the reserved fields whether they are used or not and if dates are cancelled with less than 3 weeks notice the deposit will not be refunded. Adjustments will be made where weather is a factor. MILLIGAN PARK SHELTERS The Park & Recreation Dept. will rent the north and south Milligan Park shelters, for social functions at non-programmed times. The north shelter, can  be rented for $30.00 per day.  The same guidelines apply to the larger, south shelter with a fee of $40.00.
