LIVING WELL 55+ CLUB
Montgomery County residents ages 55 and older may apply for membership to the Living Well 55+ Club. Some activities of the club include euchre, bingo, pitch in dinners, and trips. The activities are held at the Crawfordsville Community Center. We want you to come and enjoy, and welcome and suggestions to help our club grow. (The $7 membership fee does not cover senior exercise classes or use of the walking track.)
Schedule of Activities
1st Monday of each month:
Pitch-In at 5:30pm
Bingo at 6:30pm
2nd Monday of each month:
Board meeting at 5:45pm followed by euchre at 6:30pm
3rd and 4th Monday of each month:
Euchre at 6:30pm
5th Monday of each month:
Bingo at 6:30pm
Wednesday afternoons:
Bid Euchre 1-4pm
Friday afternoons:
Bid Euchre 1:00-4:00pm
Wednesday & Friday can be attended by non-members for $1

VISION CLUB
A club designed for individuals in Montgomery County who are legally blind. handicapped persons of Montgomery County. This club will meets once a month for lunch and various activities including, tours, riding around the countryside, and interaction with others with the same disability. Transportation and funding for the lunch and activity are provided. Financial support provided by the Montgomery County Community Foundation and the Parks Department. CASE MANAGERS AVAILABLE
Specially trained staff is available to help persons 60 and older needing help with community referrals, nutrition programs, transportation, and health services. Help in filling out applications for food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security is also available. For more information call 364-9084 from 8am-12noon.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING BOARD
MCCA is an affiliate of the Area IV Council on Aging. This board consists of 13 people interested in the elderly and their participation and fulfillment in life. The Board meets the 3rd Wednesday of every other month at 10:30am at the Crawfordsville Community Center. This boards purpose is to study the needs and problems of older adults and plan activities and programs that are designed to meet these needs in Montgomery County. The board acts as an advisory and sponsors the Sunshine Vans program along with many other programs.

SENIOR STRENGTH AND STRETCH
Age gracefully. This class is designed to help seniors improve muscle strength and flexibility. Weight training has been proven to help those with osteoporosis. Class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00-11:45am.
Cost: 12-visit pass $14 non-resident/ $12 city resident.
SENIOR EXERCISE
This class was designed with the older adult in mind. It incorporates low impact aerobics, chair aerobics, step aerobics, and toning exercises. Class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:45am-10:30am

SENIOR CHORUS
No auditions! Everyone that likes to sing is welcome. Practice starts March 31st at 9:30am at the Community Center. Chorus meets the first and last Friday of the month.

SUNSHINE VANS

The Sunshine Van office is now located in the Crawfordsville Community Center. This program is funded by MUFFY, Title III, and donations and is operated by the Crawfordsville Park and Recreation Department. This valuable program is designed to provide transportation for handicapped individuals and seniors over age 60 to medical appointments, grocery and other shopping needs. Suggested donations: Inside city limits round trip $4.00 Outside city limits $8.00 round trip. Ask about our punch passes. They make great gifts, are offered at a discount and are easy to use.
Please note: Medical and wheelchair appointments require a 24 hour advanced notice.
NUTRITION SITE
The Nutrition Site is located in the Crawfordsville Community Center at 922 E. South Blvd. Meals are provided by Midland Meals Monday-Friday at 12:00noon. The fee to individuals 60 years and older is $2.25/meal and $4.25 for those under age 60. For more information call Bea Sparks at 359-0029.
