ARE YOU AN IRONMAN?

Have you ever wanted to compete in a triathlon? Well, now is your chance. Tri the INDOOR IRONMAN sponsored by the Crawfordsville Parks and Recreation Department and the Crawfordsville Aquatic Center. Participants will have 30 days to complete the ironman distances of a 2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run. This is a great way to challenge yourself at your pace and on your schedule. Participants will have use of the Aquatic Center during open and lap swim hours and use of the Community Center for the duration of the challenge. Registration includes a t-shirt.

WEIGHT ROOM
The weight room is available for use all hours that the CCC is open. The weight room is equipped with machine and free weights, resistance bands and balls, medicine balls and more. Cardiovascular equipment includes treadmills, bikes, ARC trainers and elliptical trainers. Weight room orientations are available to anyone wanting to learn how to use the weight/cardiovascular equipment. Children 12-15 years of age must be directly supervised by an adult at all times while in the weight room. Youth ages 16 and 17 may workout without a parent if they have a parent signed weight room waiver form on file at the CCC. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the weight room.
WEIGHT ROOM EQUIPMENT ORIENTATIONS - FREE!
Weight room orientations are available for anyone wanting to learn how to use the weight and/or cardiovascular equipment. This service is free to monthly and annual pass holders, $5 for drop-ins. Call for an appointment: 364-5175.
BODY FOR LIFE CHALLENGE
A structured 12-week fitness and nutrition program where challengers compete against themselves to get into shape. We provide a specific training schedule and information on proper nutrition to help you reach your goals. Meet regularly with your trainer, who will guide you through your strength training and cardiovascular workouts while educating you and ensure that you know how to progress on your own. Each participant will get before and after pictures, weight, body composition and girth measurements, twenty group workout sessions with a trainer, specific cardio and strength training workouts and a sound nutrition plan. The cost for the 12-week challenge is $150.
WALKING TRACK
The walking track is available for use all hours that the CCC is open. 13.5 laps around the track are equivalent to one mile. Children 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult while using the walking track. No children under the age of 12 are allowed on the walking track. Lap counters are available at the front desk.
PERSONAL FITNESS PROGRAM
This program is designed to help the beginning exerciser get started or to add variety and intensity to an existing program. Your personal fitness trainer will teach you what you need to know about strength training and cardiovascular exercise to reach your personal goals.
