GET FIT WITH FIDO!
Would you like a walking partner that won't stand you up for your morning run because he's had a late night out with the guys? Someone that's always up for a hike and is faithful 'til the end? Who better for a fitness partner, than one of the animal Welfare League of Montgomery County's shelter dogs? "Get Fit with Fido" is a new program that is co-sponsored by the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County and the Crawfordsville Parks & Recreation Dept. Due to the close proximity of the shelter to the Sugar Creek Trail, this is a perfect solution to walkers wanting a companion while they walk. The dogs will wear special vests that say, "Adopt Me." For more information, call the Animal Welfare League at 362-8846.
